This is a student that I see weekly using Pivo. Since we are somewhat new to each other, I wanted to take the opportunity to have a discussion about lateral work. Understanding what makes lateral work beneficial is very important! Nuno Oliveira said “shoulder in is the aspirin for the horse”! Understanding what he meant helps us create a horse that can use the back. This is critical for the horse to comfortably carry our weight.
