This was the second day of wearing a halter. It is important for the horse to have a good life, that they learn to follow us. This of course comes with the responsibility of communicating clearly! In this video we are teaching the horse to follow us in the neck instead of brace.

This video is 6 weeks later, the filly has learned to follow without bracing the neck! Wonderful! However she doesn’t know how to stop!!! We start the idea of the horse respecting our space and how to interact in a way that is positive for everyone.

I see many adult horses that did not learn this young (or at all!).
